Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa has been shortlisted for a prestigious hospitality award in the category of ‘Best Newcomer.’
The resort is one of four finalists in contention to receive the accolade at the inaugural Northern Hospitality Awards.
The acknowledgment comes after a successful 12 month period which saw Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa complete its £10 million transition from golf club to full resort destination.
The award is recognition of the quality of product and service at its luxury four star hotel, world class PGA academy, state-of-the-art spa and leisure club and conference facilities.
Tim Cowell, business development manager at Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa, said: “Over the last five years our focus has been on turning a successful golf club into a world class leading resort and industry recognition is one of the best ways to know we’ve achieved that goal.
“It’s fantastic to know that we’ve been shortlisted and it’s testament to both the hard work of the team and the quality and uniqueness of the Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa product. We’ll certainly keep our fingers crossed ahead of the ceremony.”
The winner will be announced at the Northern Hospitality Awards ceremony on 30th March at The Hilton Hotel in Manchester.
Formby Hall Golf Resort & Spa is located at the very heart of England’s Golf Coast and just 10 minutes from Sefton’s classic resort, Southport and 30 minutes from Liverpool city centre.
