Liverpool-based Maghull Developments has added a £7.5m mixed portfolio of buildings to its landholding in Crosby, Merseyside.
The portfolio includes Glenn Buildings, a retail parade opposite Glenn Buildings, the site of the former Conservative Club Association and a number of residential properties on Moor Lane.
It also includes a cleared development land situated on Allengate, close to Sainsbury's supermarket.
The seller is Isle of Man-based Portville, which is owned by Total Fitness gym entrepreneur Albert Gubay.
Maghull is already redeveloping Central Buildings in Crosby into a mixed-use scheme.
Michael Hanlon, managing director of the developer, said: "We have purchased this portfolio as a part of our long-term investment strategy.
"We intend to actively manage the retail properties, refurbish the dilapidated residential stock to sell on, and also develop a new mixed-use scheme on the development land situated opposite Sainsbury's."
Maghull Group currently has a property portfolio valued at in excess of £100m.
Christopher Dee and lawyer Hill Dickinson advised Maghull on the purchase.
