One of the North West’s most entrepreneurial property development companies, the Maghull Group, has confirmed a four-year sponsorship with Marine AFC, marking a continued commitment to sport in Merseyside.
Unibond Premier League Marine F.C. based in Crosby is Liverpool’s only premier non-league football club and secured the Maghull Group as its joint shirt and stand sponsor in a four year deal worth £50,000.
The sponsorship is a massive boost for the Mariners’ as they continue with their promotion ambitions and plans for a further upgrade to their stadium facilities. The Marine first team shirts and stand will bear the Maghull Group logo through until May 2011.
Marine chairman Paul Leary comments: “We’re delighted that the Maghull Group recognises the importance of sport in the community and this four-year arrangement allows both parties to work together for maximum impact – both in terms of supporting the game and building profile for the business.”
Michael Hanlon of the Maghull Group comments: “Supporting the local community is very much our focus for 2007 and we’ve committed to several other projects already this year. We’re delighted that our contribution will help Marine AFC achieve its goals and look forward to seeing them enjoy further success this season.”
Earlier this year the Maghull Group committed to a £100k sponsorship package of the Liverpool International Tennis Tournament for a two year period.
