More than 50 per cent of Maghull Development’s luxury residential scheme branded ‘The Posting House’, has been sold off-plan according to Southport estate agents Ball & Percival, showing strong demand in Southport’s luxury residential apartment market.
Sixteen of the scheme’s 30 luxury apartments have been sold to owner occupiers, just days before The Posting House launches its stylish show apartment. The scheme provides both one and two bedroom apartments.
The Posting House overlooks the Lord Street’s famous Memorial Gardens and is built around the grand façade of the Grade II listed Victorian former Post Office Sorting Depot. A sympathetic new-build extension has been developed at the rear of the scheme and will feature juliet balconies overlooking a landscaped internal courtyard garden, a private underground car park and a new-build signature tower, on the corner of Anchor Street and Post Office Avenue.
Twenty one apartments are provided within the existing building, with nine new build apartments to the rear. All apartments have views either over Lord Street or into the scheme’s private courtyard garden area.
Comments Tracy Hopkins, sales and lettings manager for Ball & Percival, the residential estate agent selling The Posting House apartments: “The overwhelming level of interest in The Posting House is due to its combination of incredible features and buyers are particularly drawn to its superb town centre location, the high standard of interior specification and the architectural detail of the building.
“The success of this development is in its thoughtful and well planned design – combining cutting edge architectural design for the new building at the rear with a thoughtful conversion of the main structure and the retention of the original Victorian façade. Already we have a sizeable register of buyers waiting to view the show apartments and we urge anyone interested to get in touch quickly to avoid disappointment”
Prices range from £195,000 up to £330,000 and the Posting House scheme is due for completion by August 2007.
The show apartment will be open to the public from [insert date] 2007 by appointment only. To make an appointment to view The Posting House visit Ball & Percival’s office on Lord Street, directly adjacent to The Posting House or by calling 01704 536900.
